Charles Dance and Janie Dee star in a revival of William Nicholson's award-winning play Shadowlands, directed by Jeremy Sams.
Shadowlands tells the true story of the love affair between British author C.S. Lewis and American divorcée Joy Davidman. The original 1990 British production won the Evening Standard Award for Play of the Year and was nominated for three Olivier Awards. The 1990 Broadway production was nominated for the Tony Award for Best Play and earned the Best Actor trophy for star Nigel Hawthorne. The 1993 film version starred Anthony Hopkins and Debra Winger.
