Little Women is the timeless and compelling story of the March family - a vibrant, American household. With her husband away in the American Civil War, Marmee (Lizzie Conrad) is left alone to bring up their four girls; Meg (Sarah Edwardson), Jo (Sarah Grochala), Beth (Phoebe Thomas) and Amy (Diana Eskell). Through the intertwining lives of the sisters we see the familiar frustrations, contradictions and duties that constitute family life and love. We share in the hardships and heartbreak, humour and humility of these enthusiastic and diverse young women. Andrew Loudon directs.
