Alan Ayckbourn's two linked plays Garden and House are played in repertory together at the National. These two comedies actually play at the same time which provides the setting for a simultaneous production in the Lyttelton. The same actors play characters in both the comedies, running from one stage to another. The shows can also be seen as individual pieces.
