Simon Russell Beale, Carey Mulligan, Vanessa Redgrave, et al. Receive London Critics’ Circle Film Award Nominations

The nominations for the 32nd London Critics’ Circle Film Awards have been announced. The winners will be revealed in a ceremony to be held on January 19 at BFI Southbank.

Among the nominees are theater veterans Anna Paquin, Meryl Streep and Michelle Williams, nominated in the Actress of the Year category for their respective performances in Margaret, The Iron Lady. and My Week With Marilyn . Also nominated in this category are Kirsten Dunst and Tilda Swinton. The Best Actor nominees are George Clooney, Jean Dujardin, Michael Fassbinder, Ryan Gosling and Gary Oldman.

Among the artists nominated for supporting roles are Simon Russell Beale (The Deep Blue Sea), Kenneth Branagh (My Week With Marilyn), and Christopher Plummer (Beginners), as well as Vanessa Redgrave (Coriolanus), who has also been nominated, alongside Carey Mulligan and Rachel Weisz, in the British Actress of the Year category.

The London Critics Circle Film Award nominees for Best Film are The Artist, Drive, A Separation, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, and The Tree of Life.
