Jon Lee will play Frankie Valli at certain performances of the West End production of Jersey Boys beginning March 15. He joins Ryan Molloy who continues in the role, having played it for four years.

Lee has been seen in the West End production of Les Misérables, playing Marius. He may be best known as one of the original members of platinum-selling pop group S Club 7.

Other new cast members will include Matthew Wycliffe (Bob Gaudio), Wayne Smith (Bob Crewe), Rachael Wooding (Mary Delgado), Carl Au (Joe Pesci), Lauren Hall (Francine), Jo Servi (Barry Belson), Chris Gardner (Hank Majewski), and Jake Samuels (Norm Waxman), as well as Trina Hill and Tom Oakley.

The company will continue to feature Jon Boydon (Tommy DeVito), Eugene McCoy (Nick Massi), Mark Carroll (Donnie/Knuckles), Charlie Bull (Lorraine), and Stuart Milligan (Gyp DeCarlo), along with Lucinda Gill, Michael Conway, Mark Isherwood, Ben Wheeler, and Paul Iveson.

The musical is based on the life story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, and chronicles the lives of a group of blue-collar boys from the wrong side of the tracks who became one of the biggest American pop music sensations of all time. The show features dozens of the group’s popular hits, including “Walk Like a Man,” “Sherry,” “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” “Oh What a Night,” and “Can’t Take My Eyes Off of You.”
