Felicity Kendal To Return to West End in Mrs. Warren’s Profession
Felicity Kendal will return to the West End to star in George Bernard Shaw’s Mrs Warren’s Profession, to run March 16 – June 19 at the Comedy Theatre. Michael Rubdman has directed the production which has already played Theatre Royal Bath.
The play focuses on what happens when Vivie Warren discovers how her mother turned to prostitution to fund their family’s comfortable lifestyle. Mrs Warren’s continued involvement in the world’s oldest profession sets the pair at odds. Additional casting will be announced at a later date.
Felicity Kendal’s most recent West End credits include The Vortex, Amy’s View, Jumpers, Happy Days, Fallen Angels and, earlier this year, Simon Gray’s posthumous The Last Cigarette
