Full Cast, Creative Team Set for West End Revival of Entertaining Mr. Sloane

Richard Bremmer and Simon Paisley Day will join Oscar nominee Imelda Staunton and British television star Mathew Horne in Nick Bagnali’s revival of Joe Orton’s Entertaining Mr. Sloane, to run at Traflagar Studios 1, January 22-April 11. The show will be designed by Peter McKintosh, with costumes by Colin Richmond and lighting by Simon Mills.

The play is about Sloane (Horne) a handsome and amoral young man, who charms his way into the household of a middle-aged brother, Ed (Day), sister Kath (Staunton), and father Dada (Bremmer).

Staunton’s theater credits include There Came A Gypsy Riding, Calico, and Guys and Dolls. She received an Academy Award nomination for Vera Drake and is best known for Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.

Bremmer’s theater credits include Nicholas Nickleby, Bent, and Great Expectations. Day has appeared on stage in Timon of Athens, The 39 Steps, and The Philanthropist. Horne’s television credits include Gavin and Stacey, The Catherine Tate Show, and Roman’s Empire.
