Tony Award winner Tyne Daly will reprise her performance as Maria Callas in Terrence McNally’s Master Class when Stephen Wadsworth’s production of the play, seen on Broadway earlier this season, transfers to the West End’s Vaudeville Theatre. The production will run January 21-April 28, with an opening on February 7.

In the play, Callas takes audiences to one of her famous master classes, where, late in her own career, she dares the next generation to make the same sacrifices and rise to the same heights that made her the most celebrated, the most reviled and the most controversial singer of her time.

The production features set design by Thomas Lynch, costume design by Martin Pakledinaz, lighting by David Lander and sound by Jon Gottlieb.

Additional casting will be announced at a later date.
