Siobhan Dillon and Mark Evans will take over the lead roles of Molly and Sam in the West End production of Ghost The Musical, at the Piccadilly Theatre. Matthew Warchus has directed the production, which is currently booking until October 13, 2012.

With music and lyrics by Dave Stewart and Glen Ballard, and a book by Bruce Joel Rubin, the show tells the story of a man who is trapped as a ghost between this world and the next and who is trying to communicate with his girlfriend through a phony psychic in the hope of saving her from his murderer. The score includes the iconic song “Unchained Melody,” famously performed in the film by The Righteous Brothers.

The production is choreographed by Ashley Wallen. Set and costume designs are by Rob Howell, with musical supervision and arrangements by Christopher Nightingale, illusions by Paul Kieve, lighting design by Hugh Vanstone, sound design by Bobby Aitken, and projection design by Jon Driscoll.

Dillon was a finalist in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s first reality TV show How Do You Solve a Problem Like Maria?, and went on to make her West End debut as Patty in Grease. Evans since February of this year has been playing the role of Fiyero in the West End production of Wicked, with other credits including Curly in the recent UK tour of Oklahoma! and the lead role of Troy Bolton in the London production of High School Musical.

As recently reported, original stars Richard Fleeshman and Caissie Levy will reprise their parts in the Broadway transfer of the musical in Spring 2012.
