Musical Showcasing Songs of The Monkees to Premiere at Manchester Opera House March 2012

Monkee Business, a new musical featuring the songs of The Monkees, will receive its world premiere at Manchester Opera House, according to the website for the UK magazine, The Stage. The show will run March 29-April 14, followed by engagements at Glasgow Kings Theatre and the Sunderland Empire.

Among the songs to be featured in the show are “I’m A Believer,” “You Don’t Have to Say You Love Me,” “Hey, Hey We’re The Monkees,” and “Daydream Believer.”

The show, produced by Michael Rose Ltd and the Ambassador Theatre Group, is also planning a West End run.
