Isla Blair, Sadie Pickering et al. Set for U.K. Tour of Steel Magnolias

Kacey Ainsworth, Isla Blair, Cheryl Campbell, Cherie Lunghi, Sadie Pickering, and Denise Welch are set to tour the U.K. in Robert Harling’s bittersweet play Steel Magnolias, which will launch at the Theatre Royal Bath in April 2012. Acclaimed director and Olivier Award winner David Gilmore will direct the production.

Steel Magnolias tells the story of six friends bonded together by mutual triumphs and tragedies. The successful 1989 movie adaptation starred Sally Field, Dolly Parton, Shirley Maclaine, Darryl Hannah, Olympia Dukakis, and Julia Roberts.
