Donmar Warehouse Announces 2012 Season

By Dan Bacalzo • Nov 3, 2011 • London
The Donmar Warehouse has announced the first three plays for its 2012 season. This will be the first under the leadership of Josie Rourke, who takes over as artistic director from Michael Grandage on January 1.

Rourke will direct the first entry of the year, George Farquhar's comedy The Recruiting Officer (February 9-April 14). Peter Gill will then direct Robert Holman's Making Noise Quietly (April 19-May 26). It will be followed by The Physicists (May 31-July 21), a satirical drama by Friedrich Dürrenmatt, seen here in a new version by Jack Thorne, and to be directed by Rourke.
