Emmy Award winner Leslie Jordan will begin a four-week run of his solo show My Trip Down the Pink Carpet at Apollo Theatre, Shaftesbury in London in February, according to a report on Whatsonstage.com. David Galligan has directed the production.
The piece, which was seen earlier this year Off-Broadway, explores the performer’s life from small-town USA to the pink carpet of Hollywood.
Jordan is best known for his Emmy-winning role as Beverley Leslie on Will & Grace, and for his work in writer Del Shores’ Sordid Lives. His other film and television credits include Boston Legal, Ally McBeal, Murphy Brown, and Monk.
