Nic Green’s Trilogy Sets London Dates

Nic Green’s Trilogy will be presented at the Battersea Arts Centre (January 12-16) and the Barbican (January 22-23).

A hit at this year’s Edinburgh Festival, the three-hour triptych begins by exploring women’s relationships to their bodies, then reconstructs the infamous 1971 New York Town Bloody Hall debate before concluding with a euphoric naked dance performed by 50 female volunteers. Green is currently looking for women to participate in the show and the BAC and Barbican are jointly recruiting volunteers. Trilogy won the Arches Award for Stage Directors and a Herald Angel award for its Edinburgh run at The Arches @ St Stephen’s venue. Green is a Glasgow-based performance practitioner whose work spans solo and group shows, as well as community-based projects with young people.
