Tony and Emmy Award-winner Mandy Patinkin will present a series of concerts in New York and London.

He will perform a trio of concerts in repertory at The Public Theater, December 8-21, including Mamaloshen (a collection of traditional, classic and contemporary songs sung entirely in Yiddish), Celebrating Sondheim (a figurative journey through the music and lyrics of the legendary composer), and Dress Casual (which includes music by Rodgers and Hammerstein, Stephen Sondeim, and Harry Chapin). The series will be presented in honor of the 20th anniversary of his first concert at The Public. He will be accompanied by Paul Ford on piano.

Patinkin will also bring his critically acclaimed show, Mandy Patinkin: In Concert, to London’s Duke of York’s Theatre, January 8-18. The program is a musical celebration of the great songwriters such as Sondheim, Rodgers and Hammerstein, Irving Berlin, Cole Porter, and Randy Newman. Ford will again serve as accompanist.

Patinkin won a Tony for his role in Evita, and his additional Broadway credits include Sunday in the Park With George, The Wild Party, Falsettos, Mamaloshen, and The Secret Garden. He received an Emmy Award for his work in Chicago Hope, and his additional film and television credits include Criminal Minds, The Princess Bride, Yentl, and Ragtime. His many recordings include Mandy Patinkin in Concert: Dress Casual, Experiment, and Kidults.
