Mackenzie Crook, Ruthie Henshall, Julian Sands, et al. Set for London 24 Hour Plays Celebrity Gala

Jane Asher, Nancy Carroll, Lily Cole, Sanjeev Bhaskar, Brendan Coyle, Mackenzie Crook, Lisa Dillon, Freddie Fox, Robert Glenister, Anthony Head, Ruthie Henshall, Mathew Horne, David Horovitch, Gina McKee, Sophia Myles, Katherine Parkinson, Julian Sands, Rachael Stirling, Isy Suttie, and Indira Varma will be among the performers in London’s 24 Hour Plays Celebrity Gala, according to WhatsOnStage.com. The event will take place at The Old Vic on Sunday, November 13. Rob Brydon will host.

In the event, teams of writers, directors, and actors create a series of six short plays within a 24 hour time frame. Directors will include Tom Cairns, Simon Godwin, Tamara Harvey, Josie Rourke and Charlie Westenra, and writers Amy Rosenthal, Jack Thorne and Roy Williams.

Proceeds will benefit The Old Vic’s programs.
