David Wilson Barnes, Haydn Gwynne, Penelope Wilton, et al. Set for Almeida Theatre’s Spring Season

The Almeida Theatre has announced its spring 2011 lineup.

First up will be Gina Gionfriddo’s Becky Shaw (January 13-March 5), directed by Peter DuBois. This dark comedy focuses on a newly married couple finds their own relationship on the rocks after they set up their friends on a date that goes unexpectedly bad. The cas will feature David Wilson Barnes, Haydn Gwynne, Daisy Haggard, Anna Madeley, and Vincent Montuel.

Next on the theater’s schedule is David Eldridge’s The Knot of the Heart (March 10 – April 30) to be directed by Michael Attenborough and featuring Lisa Dillon and Abigail Cruttenden.

Penelope Wilton will star in the theater’s third spring production, Edward Albee’s A Delicate Balance (May 5-July 2), to be directed by James Macdonald.
