Thom Southerland to Direct New West End Full Monty

Thom Southerland will direct a new production of Terrence McNally and David Yazbeck’s The Full Monty, which will premiere at the Broadway Theatre in Catford, running November 4-29. The production will then transfer to the West End’s New Players Theatre, running December 2 – January 2.

Based on Peter Cattaneo’s 1997 film of the same name, the musical centers on a group of unemployed steelworkers who, seeing how much their wives enjoy watching male strippers during their “Girls’ Night Out”, come up with a bold way to make some quick cash. Casting and creative team will be announced at a later date.
