The Donmar will begin the year with Lanford Wilson's portrait of two couples who have been friends since college, Serenading Louie (February 11 - March 27). The production will be directed by Simon Curtis and feature production design by Peter McKintosh. The theater will also produce the world premiere of novelist Mark Haddon's first play, Polar Bears (April 6 - May 22), which explores one man's struggle to love, support and live with a psychologically disturbed woman. It will also be directed by Lloyd.
Casting for all three productions will be announced at a later date. In addition, director and choreographer Rob Ashford has now been appointed as a Donmar associate director, alongside Jamie Lloyd.
