Additional principal casting has been announced for The Phantom of the Opera at Royal Albert Hall 25th anniversary concerts to be offered on October 1 at 7:30pm and on October 2 at 1:30pm and 7:30pm. Laurence Connor will direct the performances, which will have musical staging and choreography by Gillian Lynne.

In addition to the previously reported Ramin Karimloo, in the title role, Sierra Boggess as Christine, Barry James as Monsieur Firmin, Gareth Snook as Monsieur André, Liz Robertson as Madame Giry and Wynne Evans as Piangi, the company will feature Hadley Fraser as Raoul, Kiera Duffy as Carlotta, Sergei Polunin as the Slave Master, and Daisy Maywood as Meg Giry. The creative team for the celebration will include production designer Matt Kinley, who will use the inspiration of Maria Björnson’s original design, lighting designers Patrick Woodroffe and Andrew Bridge, and sound designer Mick Potter.

Based on the classic novel Le Fantôme de L’Opéra by Gaston Leroux, the show features music by Andrew Lloyd Webber, lyrics by Charles Hart (with additional lyrics by Richard Stilgoe), and book by Richard Stilgoe and Andrew Lloyd Webber. In addition to the production playing at Broadway’s Majestic Theatre, the musical can be seen at the West End’s Her Majesty’s Theatre and in Las Vegas at Venetian Resort Hotel Casino.
