Mitch Sebastian will direct and choreograph Stephen Schwartz and Roger O. Hirson’s Pippin, to run November 22-February 25 at the Menier Chocolate Factory.

The show centers on how Pippin, heir to Charlamagne’s throne, goes on a journey to find true happiness in his life, and in the process, comes to grips with lust, sex, war, politics, and religion. Casting will be announced shortly.

The creative team will include Timothy Bird (scenic and projection design), Ken Billington (lighting design), Jean-Marc Puissant (costume design), Simon Lee (orchestrations and music supervision), and Gareth Owen (sound design).

Sebastian received an Olivier Award nomination for The Ratpack Live from Las Vegas, which he directed and choreographed. His other directing-choreographing credits include The Pirates of Penzance, Oklahoma!, and Little Shop of Horrors.
