James Clyde, Sally Dexter, Michael Sheen, et al. Set for Young Vic’s Hamlet

The Young Vic has announced principal casting for Hamlet, according to a report on Whatsonstage.com. Ian Rickson will direct the production, which will run November 9 – January 21.

As previously reported, Michael Sheen will star in the title role. The company will also feature James Clyde as Claudius, Sally Dexter as Gertrude, Michael Gould as Polonius, Vinette Robinson as Ophelia, Hayley Carmichael as Horatio, Adeel Akhtar as Guildenstern/Francisco, Callum Dixon as Marcellus, Pip Donaghy as Barnardo and Eileen Walsh as Rosencrantz.

The creative team will include Jeremy Herbert (scenic design), Nicky Gillibrand (costume design), Adam Silverman (lighting design), Gareth Fry (sound design), and Stephen Warbeck (original music).
