David Haig to Star in West End The Madness of George III
David Haig will star in Alan Bennett’s The Madness of George III, which will play a limited run at the Apollo Theatre, Shaftesbury Avenue, January 18-March 31.
The work, which premiered at the National Theatre in 1991, focuses on George III was the third Hanoverian king of Great Britain, who is best remembered today for his bouts of unbridled lunacy.
The cast will also feature Clive Francis, Beatie Edney and Madhav Sharma.
