Complete Casting Announced for Mike Leigh’s Grief

Complete casting has been announced for Mike Leigh’s newest play, which will begin performances on September 14 in the Cottesloe Theatre at the National Theatre, according to a report on Whatsonstage.com. Leigh is directing the piece, which has also announced its title, Grief.

The new work has been devised by the company which will feature, as previously announced, Ruby Bentall, Lesley Manville, Marion Bailey, David Horovitch, Sam Kelly, and Wendy Nottingham, along with Dorothy Duffy.

The creative team will include designer Alison Chitty, lighting designer Paul Pyant, and sound designer John Leonard, along with Gary Yershon, who will write original music.
