Catherine McCormack to Star in Royal Shakespeare Company’s The Heresy of Love

Stage and screen star Catherine McCormack will play Sor Juan Ines de la Cruz in the Royal Shakspeare Company’s production of Helen Edmundson’s new play, The Heresy of Love, to run February 2-March 9.

The play will be directed by Nancy Meckler, with design by Katrina Lindsay and lighting by Ben Ormerod. Further casting will be announced shortly.

McCormack’s stage credits include The 39 Steps, A Doll’s House, and Six Characters in Search of an Author. Her film and television credits include Loaded, Braveheart, Spy Game, Lights Out and Dangerous Beauty.
