Robert Bathurst, Gerard McCarthy, Oliver Wilson to Star in UK Tour of Joe Penhall’s Blue/Orange

Robert Bathurst, Gerard McCarthy, and Oliver Wilson will star in the upcoming UK tour of Joe Penhall’s Blue/Orange, to begin September 13 at the Theatre Royal Brighton. The production, to be directed by Christopher Luscombe, is expected to transfer to the West End following the tour.
In the play, which won an Olivier Award, a Critic’s Circle Award, and the Evening Standard Award for Best Play, a young patient is convinced that an infamous military dictator is his father, prompting a battle of wits between a junior psychiatrist and a senior consultant.
The tour, with stops in cities including Aylesbury, Torquay, York, Woking, Glasgow, and Manchester, will continue through December.
