Richard O’Brien’s The Rocky Horror Show to Tour UK in 2012/2013

Christopher Luscombe will direct a new UK tour of Richard O’Brien’s The Rocky Horror Show, to begin its run at the Theatre Royal Brighton on December 20.

Casting for the cult classic musical — which finds the love of two recently engaged college students tested when their broken-down car forces them into the home of “Sweet Transvestite” Dr. Frank-N-Furter — will be announced in the future.

The creative team will include Jenny Arnold (choreography), Janet Bird (scenic design), Sue Blane (costume design), Nich Richings (lighting design), Rick Clarke (sound design), Richard Hartley (original orchestrations), and Simon Beck (musical supervisor).

Tour stops will include Bristol, London, Birmingham, Liverpool, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Manchester, and York, among others.
