London’s Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre will present To Kill a Mockingbird and The Sound of Music as part of their summer 2013 programming.

Artistic director Timothy Sheader will direct Christopher Sergel’s adaptation of Harper Lee’s Pulitzer Prize-winning novel To Kill a Mockingbird, set to run May 16-June 15. Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II’s The Sound of Music will run July 25-September 7.

Additional titles and casting will be announced in the future.

The company’s productions of A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Ragtime are currently running through early September. In addition, the Public Theater’s production of Into the Woods, adapted from Sheader and co-director Liam Steel’s staging for the Open Air Theatre, continues at New York’s Delacorte Theatre through September 1.
