Melanie Chisholm, Ben Forster, Alexander Hanson, Tim Minchin Set for Jesus Christ Superstar UK Arena Tour

Full casting has been announced for the upcoming UK arena tour of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice’s Jesus Christ Superstar.

As previously reported, Ben Forster, chosen by the voting public as the winner of ITV1’s Superstar, will play the title role. He is joined by the previously announced comedian Tim Minchin as Judas, Spice Girls member Melanie Chisholm as Mary Magdelene, and BBC Radio personality Chris Moyles as Herod, as well as the newly announced Alexander Hanson as Pilate, Pete Gallagher as Caiaphas, Gerard Bentall as Annas, Michael Pickering as Peter, and Giovanni Spano as Simon Zealotes.

The ensemble includes Jeff Anderson, Michelle Antrobus, Jack Booth, Alice Capatani, Ian Carlyle, Leon Craig, Krysten Cummings, Christos Dante, Stephen John Davis, Keisher Downie, Efion Emyr, Lily Frazer, Ryan Gibb, Zoe Green, Bob Harms, Clare Ivory, Sam Jackson, Jack Jefferson, Sia Kiwa, Antony Lawrence, Leon Maurice-Jones, Brian McCann, Alana Murrin, Tim Newman, Tom Parsons, Rhiannon Porter, Tim Prottey-Jones, Adam Pritchard, Gala R , Lucas Rush, Benedict Smith, Russell Smith, Phil Snowden, Adam Strong, Ali Temple, Jon Tsouras, Alex Tucker, Marie Walker, Russell Walker, and Karlene Wray.

Jesus Christ Superstar kicks off on September 21 at London’s 02 Arena before heading to Glasgow, Manchester, Birmingham, Dublin, Liverpool, and more.
