The London production of Shrek the Musical will end its run at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane on February 24, 2013.

Jason Moore and Rob Ashford co-direct the musical, which ran in London for 20 months and features a book and lyrics by Pulitzer Prize-winner David Lindsay-Abaire and a score by Jeanine Tesori. It is based on the children's book by William Steig and the successful Dreamworks film of the same name.

The production currently stars Dean Chisnall as the ogre Shrek, Richard Blackwood as his companion, Donkey, Neil McDermott as the diminutive Lord Farquaad, and Carley Stenson as Princess Fiona.
