Laura Donnelly, Miranda Raison, and Dominic West are set to star in The River, a new play by Jez Butterworth, to run October 18-November 17 at London’s Jerwood Theatre Upstairs at the Royal Court. Ian Rickson, who directed Butterworth’s Jerusalem, will helm the production, which features designs by Ultz.

The work follows a man and woman in a remote cabin during a moonless night. All tickets for the production will be available online beginning at 9am on the day of the performance. A certain number of tickets will be sold at the theater’s box office beginning an hour later.

West is best known for his performance on HBO’s The Wire. His stage credits include Butley, The Voysey Inheritance, Rock ‘n’ Roll, and many others. Raison starred in Shakespeare’s Globe’s productions of Anne Boleyn and Henry VIII. Donnely’s credits include Philadelphia, Here I Come and A Midsummer Night’s Dream, among others.
