King’s Head Theater‘s production of Tennessee Williams’ Vieux Carré will transfer to the West End’s Charing Cross Theatre for a run from August 14 to September 1. Robert Chevara will re-stage his production in the new space.

The cast will feature Samantha Coughlan, Eva Fontaine, Anna Kirke, Jack McMillan, Hildegard Neil, Paul Standell, David Whitworth, and Tom Ross Williams. Nicolai Hart-Hansen designed the set, with Jonathan Lipman as costume designer.

The semi-autobiographical Vieux Carré follows an aspiring young writer as he encounters a host of eccentric characters at a New Orleans boarding house.
