Lucas Hare, David Kerby-Kendall to Star in Moon is Halfway to Heaven

Lucas Hare will co-star alongside playwright David Kerby-Kendall in the world premiere of The Moon is Halfway to Heaven, to be presented at the Jermyn Street Theatre, September 6-October 1, with an opening on September 8. Joe Fredericks will direct.

The poignant comedy tells the story of lifelong friends Jamie and Paul. It begins in 1928 and ends in 2010, when the two friends have reached the grand age of 82.

Hare played P.C. Lockett for three years in EastEnders, and was in the Bond film Die Another Day. Theater credits include Alan Ayckbourn’s Season’s Greetings at the National Theatre earlier this year.
