Anthony Calf, Tom Goodman-Hill, Thandie Newton Set for West End Death and the Maiden

Tom Goodman-Hill and Anthony Calf will join the previously announced Thandie Newton in Ariel Dorfman’s Death and the Maiden, to run October 13 – January 21 at the West End’s Comedy Theatre, according to a report on Whatsonstage.com. Jeremy Herrin will direct the production.

The play centers on Paulina Salas (to be played by Newton), a woman who attempts to exact revenge on the man she believes held her captive as a political prisoner.

Tom Goodman-Hill received an Olivier Award nomination for his performance in Monty Python’s Spamalot. Among his other West End credits are Enron and An Inspector Calls.

Among Calf’s recent stage are Les Parents Terribles, The Deep Blue Sea, and The Power of Yes.
