London’s Finborough Theatre has announced its late summer and fall programming, which will include the U.K. premiere of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Me and Juliet. Thom Southerland will direct the production, which will run October 5-30.

Also on the theater’s schedule is the U.K. premiere of Suzan-Lori Parks’ In the Blood (August 17 – September 4). Daniel Burgess will direct this contemporary reimagining of Nathaniel Hawthorne’s The Scarlet Letter, which will feature Frances Ashman, Natasha Bain, Eleanor Fanyinka, Vinta Morgan, Richard Pepple, and Clifford Samuel. The production will now run a full weekly schedule, rather than just Sundays and Mondays as previously announced, due to the postponement of the previously reported The Drawer Boy.

Also set for full weekly production is Walter Greenwood and Ronald Gow’s 1930 play Love on the Dole (September 7 – October 2), which will be directed by Beckie Mills and feature a company that will include Liz Bagley, Janie Booth, Ben Crowe, Emily Dobbs, Joe Evans, Colette Kelly, William Maxwell, Jack Monaghan, Sadie Pickering, Carl Prekopp, Matthew Randall, and Fiona Whitelaw. Noah Haidle’s Saturn Returns (November 2-27) will be the theater’s fourth full production for the latter part of 2010.

In addition, the company will present three offerings that will run Sundays and Mondays alongside these productions: Graham Greene’s The Potting Shed (September 12-27), an adaptation of Nikolai Gogol’s The Tale of Ivan vs. Ivan (October 10-25), and Ben Ellis’ The Captive (November 7-22).
