Casting has been announced for Laurence Marks and Maurice Gran’s Von Ribbentrop’s Watch, to run September 9-18 at the Oxford Playhouse, prior to a U.K. tour, according to a report on Whatsonstage.com. Brigid Larmour will direct the production, which will subsequently play the Watford Palace Theatre, the Richmond Theatre, and the Salisbury Playhouse.

The play focuses on a Jewish wine merchant struggling through the recession who discovers the potential business-saving value of his pocket watch — but struggles with the fact that its collectability stems from its original owner, a Nazi Foreign Minister.

The company will feature Paul Brightwell (Mr. Blackburn), Jessica Dickens (Sasha), Jack Ellis (Gerald Roth), Andrew Paul (David), Gwyneth Strong (Ruth), and Barbara Young (Mrs. Roth).

The creative team will include production designer Emma Wee and lighting designer Charlie Lucas.
