Silence! The Musical, a parody of the Oscar-winning film The Silence of the Lambs, will make its European premiere, courtesy of Imperial Productions, at The Barons Court Theatre in London, October 2-31. David Phipps-Davis will direct, with musical direction by Andre Refig.

The show, which features a book by 2009 Tony Award nominee Hunter Bell and music and lyrics by Jon and Al Kaplan, follows F.B.I. trainee Clarice Starling as she uses her relationship with Dr. Hannibal Lecter to hunt serial killer Buffalo Bill.

As previously announced, the musical will also play London’s Above the Stag Theatre, January 19-February 28. That production will be directed and choreographed by Christopher Gattelli, who helmed the show’s 2005 award-winning production at Fringe NYC. Gattelli’s Broadway credits include 13, The Ritz, High Fidelity, Martin Short: Fame Becomes Me, and Sunday in the Park with George, as well as the long-running Off-Broadway musical Altar Boyz.
