Unicorn Theatre Season to Include Work by Tim Crouch, David Greig, Jemma Kennedy

London’s Unicorn Theatre has announced the line-up for its 2012-2013 season.

The season will include Ignace Cornelissen’s A Winter’s Tale, a children’s adaptation of Shakespeare’s The Winter’s Tale, directed by Purni Morell (September 19-November 16); David Greig’s Holocaust-era drama Dr. Korczak’s Example directed by Ria Parry (September 23-November 13); Tim Crouch’s one-man show I, Malvolio directed by Karl James (October 3-November 11); Jemma Kennedy’s adaptation of Mark Twain’s The Prince and the Pauper directed by Selina Cartmell (November 25-January 13); E V Crowe’s Liar, Liar directed by Blanche McIntyre (January 31-March 6); and 1001 Nights directed by Douglas Rintoul (February 5-March 17).

Guest productions include Studio ORKA’s Wosterdam (September 21-23); Chris Goode’s Monkey Bars (September 25-30); Handa’s Surprise (October 9-11); The Mysterious Vanishment of Pobby and Dingan (October 30-November 3); Theatre Hullabaloo and Berry Theatre’s The Elves and the Shoemakers (November 6-8); Synergy Theatre Project’s Burning Bird (November 14-17); Little Angel Theatre’s The Tear Thief (November 21-December 2); Oily Cart and RSC’s In a Pickle (December 6-January 6); BAC’s The Present (February 13-17); Tangere Arts and Royal Exchange Theatre’s A Thousand Slimy Things (January 30-February 7); Freehand Theatre’s Little Red…You Know Who! (February 8-10); Imaginart’s Sensacional (February 19-24); and BAC’s Mouth Open, Story Jump Out by Polarbear (March 5-15).
