Jessica Ellerby, Barrie Rutter, Paul Thornley to Join Cast of the London Revival of A Chorus of Disapproval

Full casting has been announced for the upcoming revival of Alan Ayckbourn’s A Chorus of Disapproval, running September 17-January 5 at the Harold Pinter Theatre. Trevor Nunn directs, with musical direction by Steven Edis.

The comedy follows the trials, tribulations, and rivalries within a production of John Gay’s The Beggar’s Opera, as presented by the Pendon Amateur Light Operatic Society.

As previously announced, the cast will be lead by Rob Brydon, Nigel Harman, and Ashley Jensen and also feature Teresa Banham, Daisy Beaumont, Georgia Brown, Rob Compton, Matthew Cottle, and Steven Edis. Newly announced cast members include Jessica Ellerby, Barrie Rutter, Paul Thornley, and Susan Tracy.

The design team will be comprised of Robert Jones (set design), Tim Mitchell (lighting design), and Fergus O’Hare (sound design).
