Dominic West and Carly Bawden to Star in Sheffield Crucible’s My Fair Lady

Stage and screen star Dominic West and stage actress Carley Bawden will play professor Henry Higgins and Eliza Doolittle in the forthcoming Sheffield Crucible production of Lerner and Loewe’s My Fair Lady, to run December 12-January 26, according to published reports.

Daniel Evans will direct the revival, which will feature designs by Paul Wills, musical direction by Nigel Lilley, lighting by Tim Mitchell, sound by Simon Baker, and choreography by Alistair David.

West’s many theater credits include Design for Living, Othello, The Seagull, and Butley. His many film and television credits include 300, The Wire, and Appropriate Adult.

Bawden’s stage credits include The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe, Pippin, and The Umbrellas of Cherbourg.
