Jane Asher Set for Repertory Season at Rose Theatre Kingston

Jane Asher will play Lady Bracknell in in Oscar Wilde’s The Importance of Being Earnest and Dorothy in Harley Granville Barker’s Farewell to the Theatre, which are scheduled to play in repertory at the Rose Theatre Kingston, September 22 -October 30, according to a report on Whatsonstage.com. Stephen Unwin will direct both productions.

The company will also feature Kirsty Besterman, Bruce Mackinnon, and Jenny Rainsford. Complete casting will be announced in the near future.

Asher was most recently seen on stage in The Reluctant Debutant at Guildford’s Yvonne Arnaud Theatre. n addition, she has appeared frequently at the National Theatre, Royal Court and in the West End. Her TV credits include The Palace, Poirot, and The Old Guys.
