Nick Jonas, Ramin Karimloo, Lea Salonga, et al. Set for 25th Anniversary Les Miserables Concert; Norm Lewis Joins West End Production as Javert

Complete principal casting has been announced for a one-night-only 25th anniversary concert of Les Miserables, to be held at London’s O2 arena on October 3 at 7pm. Laurence Connor and James Powell will direct the event.

Ramin Karimloo (Enjolras) and Samantha Barks (Eponine) will join the previously announced Alfie Boe (Jean Valjean), Nick Jonas (Marius), Norm Lewis (Javert), Matt Lucas (Thenardier), Lea Salonga (Fantine), Jenny Galloway (Madame Thenardier), and Camilla Kerslake (Cosette) for the concert, which will also feature a company of 300 which will be comprised of members of the casts of the production currently running at the Queen’s Theatre and the New 25th Anniversary Production which is touring the U.K. and will play the Barbican in London this fall, as well as members from the original 1985 London cast.

The creative team for the concert will include Andreane Neofitou (original costumes), Christine Rowland (additional costumes), Patrick Woodroffe and Paule Constable (lighting design) and Mick Potter (sound design).

In related news, it has been announced that Lewis has assumed the role of Javert in the original production of the musical, playing at the Queen’s Theatre, and X Factor‘s Lucie Jones will play Cosette beginning July 12. In addition, Nick Jonas has extended his run in the show through July 24.
