Most Happy Fella London Cast Recording, Millicent Martin Sings and More Set for September Release by Sepia Records

The original 1960 London cast recording of Frank Loesser’s The Most Happy Fella is one of four Sepia Records releases scheduled for September. The disc features principals Inia Te Wiata, Helena Scott and Art Lund, and will also include five bonus tracks featuring numbers from the show performed by Edmund Hockridge.

Sepia Records will also release David Heneker and Monty Norman’s Make Me an Offer, a show which won the 1959 Evening Standard Award for Best Musical. The new CD will feature not only the original cast recording, but also excerpts from a live TV performance of the musical. The third cast recording will be a newly remastered version of Julian Slade’s 1960 show Follow That Girl.

The company’s fourth release will be Millicent Martin Sings, a compilation of 20 tracks from early in the stage and television star’s career, including “When I’m Not Near the Boy I Love,” “You’d Be So Nice to Come Home To,” and “You Made Me Love You.”
