Lyric Hammersmith Announces 2010-2011 Season

The Lyric Hammersmith has announced its 2010-2011 season, which will open with a return engagement of Simon Stephens’ Punk Rock (September 6-18), according to a report on Whatsonstage.com. Sarah Frankcom will direct the production, which will embark on a U.K. tour following its run at the theater.

Also on the Lyric Hammersmith schedule is Richard Bean’s The Big Fellah (September 21 – October 16), which will play the theater as part of its ongoing U.K. tour, and a revival of Sarah Kane’s Blasted (October 28 – November 20), to be directed by Sean Holmes. Over the holidays, the theater will offer Joe Horwood and Morgan Lloyd Malcolm’s pantomime, Dick Whittington (November 27 – January 8).

In the new year, the theater will produce Jeremy Dyson’s adaptation of Roald Dahl’s Twisted Tales (January 14 – February 26) and Vivienne Franzman’s Mogadishu (March 3 – April 2).
