Judi Dench to Join Simon Russell Beale, Maria Friedman, Bryn Terfel for BBC Proms Sondheim at 80 Concert

Judi Dench will perform “Send in the Clowns” in the BBC Proms concert Sondheim at 80 to be offered at Royal Albert Hall on July 31. Martin Duncan will direct the performance, which will feature the BBC Concert Orchestra, conducted by David Charles Abell.

As previously reported, Simon Russell Beale, Maria Friedman, and Bryn Terfel are also scheduled to perform, as are Daniel Evans, Caroline O’Connor, Julian Ovenden and Jenna Russell. The event will also feature music from Sweeney Todd, Into the Woods, and Sunday in the Park with George, among others.
