Clare Burt, Michael Cahill, Ria Jones, Glyn Kerslake Set for Closer Than Ever in London

London’s Landor Theatre has announced casting for the Richard Maltby, Jr. and David Shire’s Closer Than Ever to run September 14 – October 9, according to a report on Whatsontage.com. Robert McWhir will direct the production, which will feature choreography by Matthew Gould.

With music by Shire and lyrics by Maltby, the show is a revue filled with songs that reflect on marriage, parents, children, and lasting friendships. The company will feature Clare Burt, Michael Cahill, Ria Jones and Glyn Kerslake.

In related news, the theater has announced that its current production of Smokey Joe’s Café has been extended through August 12 and that Melanie La Barrie has taken over the role played by Kym Mazelle.
