Anna-Jane Casey and Gary Milner to Star in UK Revival of Bells Are Ringing

Anna-Jane Casey and Gary Milner will headline a revival of the musical Bells Are Ringing at the Union Theatre, September 29-October 23, according to Whatsonstage.com. Paul Foster will direct the production.

The show, which features a score by Jule Styne and book by Betty Comden and Adolph Green, centers on Ella Peterson, who works at her cousin’s answering service in New York City. However, events begin to spiral out of control as Ella falls for hard-drinking playwright Jeff Moss and her little white lies come back to haunt her.

The score features such hits as “Just in Time”, “The Party’s Over,” and “Long Before I Knew You”.
