Full casting has been announced for Samuel Adamson’s stage adaptation of Truman Capote’s Breakfast at Tiffany’s, which will begin previews on September 9 at Theater Royal Haymarket on London’s West End. The production will be directed by Sean Mathias and designed by Anthony Ward.

The work is adapted from Capote’s famed novella about Holly Golightly, a backwoods girl intoxicated by Manhattan high society. It was turned into a movie starring Audrey Hepburn, while a stage musical, starring Mary Tyler Moore, closed before making it to Broadway.

In addition to previously announced stars Anna Friel and Joseph Cross, the show will feature James Dreyfus, Suzanne Bertish, Dermot Crowley, John Ramm, Kames Bradshaw, Gwendoline Christie, Paul Courtney Hyu, Felix D’Alviella, Nicholas Goh, Annie Hemingway, Sam Hoare, Natalie Klamar, and David Phelan.

Adamson’s plays include Southwark Fair, Clocks and Whistles, Some Kind of Bliss, Mrs Affleck, A Quiet Island, and his adaptation of Pedro Almodovar’s Spanish film All About My Mother.
