Juliette Binoche to Star at London’s National in In-I

In-I, a new contemporary dance theatre piece co-created, performed, and directed by actress Juliette Binoche and dancer and choreographer Akram Khan, will play the National Theatre, September 6-October 9, ahead of an international tour. The two-character piece has a set designed by Turner Prize-winning artist Anish Kapoor and an original score composed by cellist Philip Sheppard.

Binoche last appeared on a West End stage in Naked, and appeared on Broadway in the revival of Harold Pinter’s Betrayal. She’s best known for her many films including The English Patient, for which she won an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress, and Chocolat, for which she received another Oscar nomination. Her many other films include Dan in Real Life, Damage, Breaking and Entering, The Unbearable Lightness of Being, and Blue.
