Full Cast, Creative Team Set for UK Premiere of Shinn’s Now or Later

Matthew Marsh, Eddie Redmayne, Domhnall Gleeson, Nancy Crane, Adam James, and Pamela Nomvete will star in Christopher Shinn’s drama Now or Later, which runs September 3-October 18 at the Royal Court Jerwood Theatre Downstairs. The production will be directed by Dominic Cooke, and designed by Hildegard Bechtler, with lighting by Charles Balfour and sound by Ian Dickinson.

The play explores the tension between liberalism and fundamentalism in American politics. On election night, things are looking rosy for the Democratic party. But as the likely President-elect, his wife, advisors, and 20-year-old son watch the results roll in, controversial photos of John Jr are gathering momentum on the Internet and the press team is working on damage limitation. Shinn has had four previous plays staged at the Royal Court: Where Do We Live, Four, Other People and Dying City.
